I have a contour plot, and I need to make the following modifications. Could anyone please guide me on how to change the syntax accordingly?

  1. Remove grid lines (black lines) from my plot.

  2. Swap the axes so that s2  appears on the Y-axis, ranging from 1000 to 7000. Currently, s2 is shown on the X-axis from 1 to 7.

  3. Add a color scale (legend) for the contour values of stemp (with label), with formatted values like 1.47 × 10⁷ (scientific notation).

Attaching my file with plot: S1_vs_s2_contour_plot.mw

I’ve attached (or described) a sample contour plot for reference.

For years I used to use 2 accounts when I am home

  • one under Firefox corresponds to my profesionnal account, which I can access to from my office oror home (and which is the one I use here),
  • the other one under Safari is my "personal" account; (login mmcdara)  which I cannot access to from my office because of security rules.

To separate the managing of professional and personal accounts I always used the former under Firefox and the latter under Safari.
Since the outage my personal account is no longer accessible, neither from Safari nor Firefox.

I created this account about eight years ago using the adress michael.mcdara@gmail.com and during all these years the connexion to Mapleprimes from Safari was  "automatic" in the sense that I was always logged in as mmcdara. Even after having quit Safari or shut down my computer, I was logged in as mmcdara as soon as I reopened Mapleprimes (a curiosity, for quitting Firefox being logged in as sand15 and openening it again required my relogging as sand15).

This still was the case early this morning (I sent replied to andiguy) but not one hour after.
Indeed Mapleprimes asked me my mail adress, that I knew, and my password, that I have forgot, of course.

Eight years ago the double authentification was not mandatory and so Gmail has purely and simply made the adress michael.mcdara@gmail.com inaccesible in between (I used it only with Mapleprimes, thus no real need to look at it regularly nor to bother with this double authentification stuff... at least I thought).
So any attempt to ask for a reinitialization of my password is a dead end for I cannot access the address michael.mcdara@gmail.com

My main activity on Mapleprimes is realized using my mmcdara account.
What bothers me the most  (loosing my mmcdara account would be unplesant but I can survive this) is that I was working since several months on two or three posts and that I can't anymore access the corresponding drafts (not a deadly situation I cannot survive to neither).

Do you have any idea about how to solve these issues?
I would satisfy myself recovering the two or three post drafts I was working on.

Thanks in advance

In a recent MaplePrimes question: https://mapleprimes.com/questions/240543-Maple-20251-On-Windows-11-How-To-Resize

a discussion of interrupting a computation also came up.

I gave some comments. In one of these I wanted to include a link to a screenshot.
I tried several times. It seemed that I only had the choice between the full image or a thumb nail.
So I chose the latter. That appeared to me as worthless. I tried a couple of times more, but decided to delete all 3.

Then I wrote a comment without a screenshot.

It looks silly to have these empty (and anonymous) "comments" still around.
Is there any way to remove these?

Same question for googletagmanager.

The NoScript extension for Firefox lists the following java scripts

I do not see a degradation in performance when these scripts are disabled. So why are these scripts running?

What do they do?

The last few mornings there's been a high rate of spam.  I just deleted 5 or 6 posts.  How are they getting through and why haven't they stopped?

What's with some of the older posts missing images?  Were they deleted by maplesoft to save space on mapleprimes servers?  (Storage is pretty cheap these days)

I actually replaced some images a while ago, maybe a few years back.  However I've come across the post again and the image is gone ... strange.  Maybe there's an AI at work here clearing out images.

In some cases the images are just the output of Maple code plots.  That's ok to remove, I guess, but in others, people have used screenshots which contain code that have been removed where in some cases after they're removed make the entire thread useless.  It's not often but it occurs.

Anyways, does mapleprimes sometimes clear out images?  Or is it an inadvertent effect when some maintenance is performed?

I don't know what combination of keys I used, but I deleted all the answers and comments to this question in one go.

Can some moderator recover all of them?

Thanks in advance and sorry for the inconvenience

Your MaplePrimes post The package ODECSplines - Description was deleted by a moderator for the following reason: 3. If you believe this was done in error, please contact Maplesoft customer service: https://www.maplesoft.com/contact.

Does anyone know what is ment by reason 3. ?

So, MaplePrimes is now accessible again after an unprecedented 5-day outage. What happened? There was no announcement of the outage beforehand, making it seem like an accident. How could it take 5 days to recover from an accident? I don't see any differences yet, so it doesn't seem as if the software that runs MaplePrimes was being updated. There's usually some official announcement of these things, but I don't see any.

Performing a search brought some results from wamp.mapleprimes.com.

I clicked on it and firefox gave me a warning.  Is wamp.mapleprimes.com a legitamate site???

Why you delete my question  most of my equation are same but demand of the questions are different, i can make a 100 account and each time i asked by one of them, and right now most of my question taged like they dublicated but they are don't ، i am not jobles and sick to post a dublicate question, You started a riot.

This isn't the first time that I've seen a question that doesn't seem to have received a comment or answer, but which, when I click on the question title, turns out to have received one.
Here's the opposite phenomenon: a question appears to have two comments or answers, but none of them exist (9:38 GMT+1)

I tried to contact an author using the menu item more->contact autor.

I got the following back from postmaster@maplesoft.com

The IP-adress 199.71.183.16 (domain maplesoft.com) does not match the IP-adress of my mailprovider.

The authentification of the mailprovider works when I send directly from this mailprovider to gmail accounts.

Is this a known issue when sending via maplesoft.com or only temporary?

Is gmail too restrictive?

This text is typed directly into the browser. I can now change the font size to something bigger. I can also change the font from Default to something else.

This text in Calibri 11 was pasted from Word. What do I have to do to change it to MaplePrimes default font (which I have used above)? Selecting default from

does not work because default is already selected when I put the cursor into the pasted text.

What is the default font type by the way? Can I change it permanetly?

All on Windows 10 and with Firefox.

It's becoming increasingly common for questions to be deleted, the most frequently evoked argument being that they duplicate earlier questions.
Usually it's the author of the question who complains, in this case it's the one who provided an answer.

I've always found this self-given freedom on the part of moderators somewhat inappropriate, especially given that these deletions are done on the sly, without even the courage to be explicitly claimed by their authors.

Couldn't these latter take the time to leave a message indicating what they've just done (and why) and where the deleted question, and any exchanges associated with it, can be found?
Otherwise, this attitude is more akin to contempt and censorship than to real management of this blog.

A few years ago, when I came to this site, these deletions were the exception and I can only deplore the fact that they have become commonplace.
They say that life is better elsewhere, I don't know, but what I do know is that I've never come across this on any Scilab, R, SageMath or OpenTurns user's blog.

Anyway, here's the reply I sent to @salim-barzani :  Hirota_derivative_KdV_equation.mw
