Hello all,

I would like to use Maple to simplify an expresion of this form:

in terms of the respective roots. The equation represents the dynamics of a system (aircraft) in the longitudinal plane and I would like to observe the influence/contribution of any one symbolic variable on a specific root or mode of the aircraft. Substituting in a few values I note that a solution clearly exists however 'factor' doesnt appear to be able to reduce the expression further. I have quite a few of these expressions so it would be helpful to be able perform the factorization within Maple.

Any assitance would be welcome!
