fsolve is not working

When I used Maple to solve 3 constants in 3 integral equations, fsolve cannot give me the numerial solutions. It copied the equations and showed me “fsolve（......）”. But if I change the positions of 2terms in the equations (for example a+b is rewritten as b+a), fsolve can give me the numerical solutions for the 3 constants.

In most cases, I donot know the right order and it cannot give me the results. So what is the problem?...

Finite series contradictory results

Attached are results I obtained in MAPLE 12. Can anyone explain the contradiction?

In short, if I sum from n = 0 to some integer I get a FALSE when testing the equality, which is what I would EXPECT. However, if I change the integer to a variable to represent that integer such as m--> the result is TRUE?

Note the change in the variable of beta to alpha inside the series expression within the parentheses.

I want to compute a system of linear equations when they are provided through a matrix product, and the solutions should be some numbers (rational) between 0 and 1, and one of them could be any rational number. Also, I obtain the matrix of coefficients by recursion; I mean, I have a ''for loop" in which I find recursively the matrix of coefficients, and then in each step of loop I solve the system of equations with this coefficients.

I'm using the 64-bit version of Maple 16.0 and Excel 2010 (32-bit). (Most people using Office 2010 install the 32-bit version on 64-bit operating systems.)

Is it possible to use the Maple addin with the above setup ? I tried selecting WMIMPLEX64.xla, but Excel appears to want WMIMPLEX.xla (from the 32-bit).

What is the easiest fix ? Can I find a copy of WMIMPLEX.xla and use with with Maple64bit and Excel32bit ? Do I need to uninstall Maple64-bit and install Maple32-bit ?

I need to draw the deformation of one story building (for simplicity, 4 columns and 2 floors) whose columns and floors under influence of external load acting to the left of the building at its intersection point undergo the deform shape like S . So means that when the building moves to the right its intersection point of column and floor has some small rotation.
