How would one set up a multispring model in maplesim?

Actually I don't know the exact model I want to try to explore yet, but I was wondering if someone could show an example of, let's say a beam with 4 springs attached offset to one end. On one end of the beam we inject vibrational frequencies and graph the output on the other end - doesn't matter which end - I imagine we could explore both from both ends. How could we set that up?

Does anybody know how to configure the model to obtain the position constraint equations of a slider-crank mechanism as:

l1·cos(theta)+l2·sin(beta)-s = 0
l1·sin(theta)-l2·cos(beta) = 0

instead as obtained in the help-example on:

Hi everyone.

I have a doubt:

On the example at "kinematic exports help", the position constrain equations are not the same as the one made by hand. In fact, they should be as:

l1·cos(theta)+l2·sin(beta)-s = 0

l1·sin(theta)-l2·cos(beta) = 0

I know that a bit difference might be due to de sector of the angle beta. However, what I cannot undestand is why the term "s" appears multiplying to "cos(theta)" in the example.

Can anybody please help me?

Let's say I do this:

The syntax example that my professor gave to get the sum of the points of the x-coordinate is as follows:

sum('points [k,1]', 'k'=1..7);

Now here's my question: how do I use the sum command to define a function that uses the Simpson's rule. I know I can't use the simpson's command since I'm dealing with a bunch of points and not a function.

For i=1 I need to calculate the variables t12[i], t13[i] ... and t18[i], then to calculate Cn(i,n)=F(t12[i], t13[i] ... and t18[i]) as n increase from 1 to 15 and then to increase i and calculate all these variabels another time and this will continue to i=5.

How to make the nested loop for this example?

I need to create an ellipse and an ellipsoid (ellipse in 3D) through code. How would I be able to do this? Can someone please give me an example for each?

Also, I will need to create a line for an ellipse and a plane for an ellipsoid that intersect. Would I be able to find the intersecting points?
