Typically, plots on a Maple worksheet fill substantial portions of the printed page when they're printed out.  What I'd like to do is resize plots, prior to printing, such that they're smaller when printed.  I'd also like all plots on a worksheet to print out at the same size.  Note that simply highlighting a plot on the Maple worksheet and then pulling the corner to resize it, is not what I want to do:  I find it very difficult to anticipate the...

I have a non linear Sharpe ratio with 3 portfolio weights w1,w2 and w2. I want to (globally) maximize the sharpe ratio by choosing w1,w2 and w2 subject to the constraints that each of the variables is in the range of 0 to 1, and that their summation is equal to 1. I also want the maximization to start at an initial point of [w1=0.35,w2=0.6,w3=0.05].

The function is:

SR:= (0.012w1+0.007w2+0.0384w3-0.009)/(stdev)

where stdev is the standard deviation of the portfolio ...

Don't forget set Plot0 component manipulator to "Click and Drag" to test "on click" event. Localizing of problem takes for me ~4 days. It's terrible!

I have written lists of parameter values and functional forms which I read at the top of the worksheet and use subsequently when I need numerical output.

For instance,

Parameters1 := [ s = 2 ];
Functions1 := [ U = 'proc(c) (c^(1-s)-1)/(1-s); end proc' ];
eval(eval(U(c), Functions1), Parameters1);

Hi simulators

Is there an easy way to give a global time frame/limits for all plots: typically I need to simulate a few seconds to get rid of all my transients, and then I would like to zoom in on the effect of interest. Now I have only found out how to reset one by one each graph via the axis properties, I have a dozen graphs per simulation 4 variables to scan over ten points each, that makes a damn lot of graphs properties click to reset, results: I need 60 sec to...

Mazimize only gives me the first maximum it finds. I want to find all maximums in an interval, or just the largest NUMERICALLY. is there a workaround?
