I'm writing a maplet and I would like to put in my MathMLViewer two equations. Each equation in different line. How can I do this using MathML[Export]() while setting the value of MathMLViewer ?

Is there a way to create an interactive plot, and put it in a Maplet, so I could get onclick coordinates and display some points there on my plot ? I checked Maple help and I didn't find any onclick event for plot or Maplets,Elements,Plotter but I found something called PlotComponent and there are some options like clickx, clicky. Can I use it somehow in Maplet, or maybe there's another solution ?

I would like to save a simple plot to jpeg file on my hard disk. I've got a Maplet, and a Button which looks like that

How can I create using Maplet a window that is not modal, so I could minimize or maximize it (I know what to do to make it resizable and that's not the question I would like to ask).

This simple example creates modal window with no minimize and no maximize button:

I want to create a Textbox which will be opened in the beginning of a Maple code. In this Textbox I want to write an integer, which will be used for a following calculation.

I am "playing" around with the Maplet Builder and I am having some problems:
Let say I have three separate vector columns with data loaded in maple ie A, B and C.

i) I want the user of the maplet to be able to select ie highlight a vector from the three
available vectors which are presented in a drop down box.

ii) A button when clicked on plots the data in the selected vector.


How can I do this with the Maplebuilder??  I will need step-by-step instructions.

How do you get equation from user in middle of a procedure? I tried to use the GetEquation of Maplets[Examples] but I cannot make a function out of it. The sheet is something like:

I saw an image yesterday of some math done similar to how one can write on paper, with each new reformulation shown on the next line, with a down-arrow between each such line. In other words, operations and output moving down the sheet rather than along it to the right.

The first thing that came to mind was: can this be done in Maple with context-menus?

I try to use MathMLViewer with OpenMaple. Similar works with plotting:

If I issue

interface(plotdevice=maplet);

Plots are shown nicely in a new java window.

But executing

Maplets[Elements][MathMLViewer](MathML[Export](x^2));

results in the following error

Error, (in XMLTools:-ToString) could not initialize the Java Virtual Machine

What can I do to make it work?

If you create a Maplet using the Maplet builder, how can you insert it into your worksheet ? ... e.g. having a hyperlink or button which when clicked runs your Maplet ?
