When I used Maple to solve 3 constants in 3 integral equations, fsolve cannot give me the numerial solutions. It copied the equations and showed me “fsolve（......）”. But if I change the positions of 2terms in the equations (for example a+b is rewritten as b+a), fsolve can give me the numerical solutions for the 3 constants. 

In most cases, I donot know the right order and it cannot give me the results. So what is the problem?...

with boundary conditions

f(0) = 0, D(f)(0) = a, (D(f))(b) = 1   (b corresponds to infinity and we can assume it 4 or 10 such that the solution converge)

I am experiencing a strange problem with my clipboard. I am using Ducument Mode and when I am trying to copy part of my document using Ctrl+C and place it in the same document using Ctrl+V, then sometimes things are not being copied properly as can be seen on my image below. It is as though the clipboard doesn't pick up the fomatting. When I restart my computer things works fine until a certain point when it stops working. I hope someone can...

and

If I use the procedure for numerical solution, their solutions are similar.

I set up 8 equations systems with 8 variables (multivariate polynomial equations, which are product of maximization problem with budget constraint). The equations are set as eq1, eq2, etc as attached in the file. However, the  "fsolve" function can't give me any solution. Can someone recommend me a way that will solve the equations.

Hi!

Can anyone help me to write code that validates an answer to a equation of the sort a*x^2=cx.

There will be two solutions to the given equation and I don't know how to write it so it takes in and separates the two answers from the student and validates them.
