Thanks Scott, I probably haven't seen the benefits of the box yet. I would like to shrink the palettes to any width, but I can live with popping them up when I need them. Many thanks for your kind help Mike

Thanks Scott, I see how to do it now, I never really liked using sections. However, I will try some with Slideshow. Could I ask you another question? Is it possible to type Math in document mode without that new surrounding dotted box. I have been used to no box in Maple 10 before upgrading. Also is it possible to shrink the pallete on the left rather than eliminate it. The shrinking in Maple 11 seems to restrict it to a rather wide default. Thanks Mike

Thanks Scott, it is 11.0 and I am running XP homw. I don't think the documents are broken up. Any document in Slideshow mode just shows part of the top page of the document and you cannot scroll further than what is shown. The context menu is available for plot changes.
