@Preben Alsholm  Fantastic! Thank you again very much for your kind help.

@Preben Alsholm  I am not sure you will see this message, but in case you do: although Maple cannot return a closed-form formula for the solution, is there a way to extract the data from these plots? Thank you

@Preben Alsholm Thank you very much for your insights

@Preben Alsholm  Thank you so much for taking the time to respond.

Is there a way to generate a complete symbolic solution while keep s unspecified?

@Rouben Rostamian

In the ps of my initial question, I mentioned that using the LinearAlgebra package yielded similar message errors unfortunately.

Yes, for some reason, using M^-1 in my original worksheet (where I construct each entry of the matrix) yields a recursion error. Copy pasting the output of M into a separate file and asking for M^1 yields a memory error. Not sure why, but I am still unable to obtain the inverse of this matrix (or similarly, solve the system AX=b)

I would very much appreciate any feedback that you think might solve the problem. Thank you

Of course, the float(inifinity) can be expressed explicitely, but the attached worksheet will give you an idea of what the M matrix I am trying to invert looks like.

Thank you for your suggestions,
