I would just like to thank you alot, Jarekk! We now have what we want. :)

Me and my partner have learned so much in maple from your examples and comments, and even though it took some learning-hours, the next five thermodynamics-reports will take so little time on the error-propagation-part it is unfathomable...

Again- thanks alot!

This is almost exactly what we wanted, thanks alot. You might have saved us hours of work on our Thermodynamics-report! :)

A few more things though:

Here is an example of what we want to do:

test.mw

test.xls

In the example we want to calculate the error in average mass (which should be smaller than the objects given error alone).
The first problem is exporting these data-values (from the combine-function in maple) back into excel. (since these arent given as numbers, but as Quantity(Value, Error).

The second problem is that making alot of rows and variables (m11-m210 and M1-M10) is fine and dandy when its only average we want. But inserting mXX and mYY by hand into advanced thermodynamical expressions will be a pain. (especially so when we get alot of uncertainties.)
