I have the following functions: and 

I want to differentiate e(a,A) wrt A and I keep getting the following error

Error, invalid input: ln expects its 1st argument, x, to be of type algebraic, but received [gamma/(c(A)^(sigma*phi)-1+gamma)].

Not sure how to proceed.
