Thank you very much DSkoog, it perfectly works with the Java update :-)

In my case I just used "Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 16" http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1573

since I am still under OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), but this was the solution to my problem :-)
