Dear ODE enthusiasts and Maple developers,

I recently came across the following article which claims to put to rest the quest for solutions to Abel ODEs:

I found the method a little difficult to follow, as it involves numerous changes of variables. Has any of you ODE experts ever looked into this method? Does it look like something that would be easily programmed with Maple?
