In my brief experience posting to my blog and to forums on MaplePrimes, I've noticed the following four issues:
  1. Could MaplePrimes support the <p> and/or <br> HTML tags? This would make it much easier to put a blank line between the elements of a list. Right now, I have to jump through some hoops to get the effect I want—like this list, for example!
  1. I lost both a blog post and a forum post when I went to preview them and tested one of my hyperlinks to another web page. OUCH! Could MaplePrimes save the post right before displaying the preview so that nothing will be lost?
  1. Right now, the signature in the member profile is appended only to comments. Could MaplePrimes also append it to blog and forum posts? Better yet, could there be three check boxes so that members could select which of the three will automatically include a signature? (If you want to be really fancy, you could support three different kinds of signatures.)
  1. Could MaplePrimes have a button to insert the HTML code (perhaps in between two blank lines) at the cursor position? This would make it easier to control the trimming of blog and forum posts.
Incorporating all these features would make contributing posts to MaplePrimes even easier and more pleasant to do. Thanks, Fred -- Frederick W. Chapman, Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Waterloo http://www.scg.uwaterloo.ca/~fwchapman/
