I am trying to get the directional derivative for a 3 variable (x,y,z) function. Maple is saying: Error, (in Student:-MultivariateCalculus:-DirectionalDerivative) include points for only the x and y coordinates for entry DirectionalDerivative(x*exp(y)/(3*z^2+1), ([x, y, z]) = ([2, -1, 0]), [1, -2, 3]) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
