I am an associate professor of mechanics at The Technical University of Lodz, Poland, where I have specialized in stochastic problems and computer methods for the past 15 years. I am currently studying problems related to a generalization of the stochastic finite element method and the related discrete approaches. I use Maple on a daily basis as a help for educational purposes and, mainly, to conduct my research. My book 'Computational Mechanics of Composite Materials' published by Springer NY-London, 2005 was fully supported by the MAPLE scripts.
