@DavidRusso

Oh never mind, I didn't insert a space between R and the rest to indicate multiplication.

Thanks!

Thank you very much for that, and to everyone else's suggestions.  I'll shall take the hint and dedicate myself to some more learning and coding.

As for built-in tools, it would seem that this is a common problem in many areas of working science, not just aircraft performance which is what I am using it for, and a Maple assistant would be helpful.  I have an Excel routine which can perform the suggested approximations, but in the interest of convenience, I like to have everything 'in the same box' so to speak.  I think I have been wishing the same thing though, since the advent of personal computers.  I used to use MathCad which also does not appear to provide easy routines for such problems, nor does Matlab.

Thanks, I see there are a number of possible methods.  What I am looking for is specifically what Maple tools might be easiest, for example a package that does data analysis, etc.  I read the documentation but I seem to circumnavigate my problem.

One of my problems is that I don't have graymatter resources available to learn Maple programming, much or at all.  I seek a quick tool, one of the reasons I selected Maple to help me.

@Carl Love

Thanks for that. I just realized that I have 0.1 sec variations in the one second sampling rate.  I can round all times up to the whole second without affecting the usefulness of results.
