Hi Steve,

That's a good question and we've asked our development team to look into it. Hope you can use the workaround in the meantime.

Hello @ianmccr,

We're sorry for the trouble. Are the display issues still being encountered, and has the latest update to Maple 2021.1 been installed?

Hi @GunnerMunk

Did you mean to supply a list of functions as the first argument to plot like so?

restart;
x := t -> 10*Unit(('m')/'s'^2)*t^2;
y := t -> 50*Unit(('m')/('s'))*t;
plot([x(t), y(t)], t = 0*Unit('s') .. 5*Unit('s'));

Hi @student1EE, is your Context Bar toggled on in the View menu? Has the 2021.1 update since been installed as well?

Thank you for the report, and we're sorry for the inconvenience @chrisc .

The SCR was received, our Development team are investigating, and we will consider improvements in future versions of Maple if necessary.

We're sorry for the trouble with ShowSolution @Andreas Greuer .

We're having trouble reproducing the problem. If you are still encountering it, could you contact us via a support request form?

A new Maple 2021.1 update installer for Mac is available and can be downloaded here. The new installer works on all versions of macOS we currently support (10.14 and later).

If you were previously encountering problems downloading the update on macOS 10.14, please download the update again to get the new update installer. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Hello @Anthrazit,

This problem has been fixed in the Maple 2021.1 update. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Hello @erik10,

The problem with plot annotations shifting during PDF export has been fixed in the Maple 2021.1 update. Our apologies for the trouble this caused your students.

Hello James,

There are some OpenMaple requirements for OSX paths detailed in the article found with

?OpenMaple,Java,running;

Can we confirm that we have at least added <BINDIR> to the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable and set the MAPLE environment variable?

jopenmaple should be found in the BINDIR as libjopenmaple.jnilib

Great question @Onnimikki . We are looking into it and will get back to you shortly.

Hello @Anthrazit,

We appreciate this Player limitation being brought to our attention.

Unfortunately, Maple Player 2020.1 does not support importing packages.

Since the Player can not create or execute worksheets, this should only affect interactive components that load packages developed in the full version of Maple then interacted with through the Player.

Thank you for your interest in improving support for packages in future versions of Maple Player. We have passed it on to the development team for consideration.

Thanks for the question @Anthrazit ,

We're looking into Maple Player support for downloading MapleCloud packages.

In the meantime, is it possible to visit MapleCloud Packages in a web browser to download them?

Hello @Anthrazit ,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

We hope to improve this limitation in future versions of Maple. In 2021.0, the workarounds are

  • Use list box instead of combo box
  • Use combo box, but change entries to be in English

@Anthrazit thank you for providing the workbook. Yes, we can continue the conversation through the support ticket/email.

Did you determine a series of reproducible steps that generate the error?
