As far as I know, no application would be able to interact with the cookies or JavaScript in a browser once it has launched. This is a security feature of web browsers.

But what you could do, is when a user clicks a "Close" button in your Maplet, have the Maplet open a url in the browser that indicates the Maplet has completed. Your web application would then be able to read a cookie that your page set before launching the Maplet to identify the user and then continue with whatever server-side code you would like.

I suggest you contact Maplesoft Tech support. It sounds like there may be a problem with your MapleNet installation. The below plot:

plot3d(x^2+y^2,x=-1..1,y=-1..1)

Is generated using MaplePrimes' installation of MapleNet using the same imaging method you are using. So it appears there is something wrong with your installation.

When you reply to any thread, it will appear at the top of the "Recent" page. It also will appear underneath "Active Conversations" in the right sidebar.

The Questions page lists the most recently asked questions, not the most recently replied to questions.

There is no need to re-open the thread, since it will be at the top of the Recent page, other users should see it and if they have an answer, reply.

MaplePrimes does not currently allow you to restrict the search to a certain user. I'll add that to the list, as it definitely could be useful.

That application requires DynaFlexPro to be installed. DFP is no longer available for purchase, so that application was removed from the Application Center.

This Editor's Choice Application by Carl Madigan also covers the Double Pendulum, and should help you out.

Maple 12 should work great on your machine. The minimum system requirements for Maple are a 650 MHz Pentium III with 512 MB of ram, so you are way above that.

Currently, there are no options to change sorting order for items on MaplePrimes. We intend to add full sorting options to all sections of the site to allow people to choose sort by date or rating.

We spent a lot of time working to ensure that MaplePrimes always works quickly for our users, and generally, I think we succeeded in that goal. We do know that there are some pages that still render slowly and we have some ideas on how to speed them up.

Which pages in particular are you finding speed issues on?
