Fouriercoeff(x^2,10); it still has two inputs... according to the question.it says i have to assume n to be integer in order to simplify as far as possible.i have no idea how to do that

I will have a look at both links you gave me and study this interesting topic. Since I have just done some basic calculus for the first time in a foundation course last year in the university of St Andrews, this maybe a chanllenge. You have been helped a lot. Thanks so much. chen

Hi, Equation (3) is y(0)=a , dy/dx=f(x,y(x)) The title of this part of exercise is "Euler_Trapezodial method for sloving differential equations". So now I am really confused why you would say it is something to do with Integration... Before this question, I have done a procedure for Trapezium rule (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trapezoidal_rule) which is nothing to do with differentiation. Now,it comes using Euler_Trapezodial method for sloving differential equations.... I am confused
