Is Mapleprimes management aware of this problem ? Does anyone else have anything to add ? v/r, dc
Does that ever worry you ?
Thanks, I'll look at that help topic.
I would like a refereed online journal for members. I browse this site frequently for the blogs, in addition to asking for help. However, sometimes there are not any new front page postings for quite some time, and I can only go through the same few blogs so many times. v/r,
Thanks for the information. I'm sure it will be helpful.

Sir, Sorry for not providing any preliminary information before posing my request for help. I resolved the floating point error by re-checking my parentheses, and now I'm getting actual floating point values. (It always seems to be the little things). I'm still unclear on your statement of my notations having nothing to do with conventional Maple. Can you elaborate a little further ? Again thanks, very respectfully, (No offense taken) Dan

After I try to restore Maple10 after using some other application for a long time, everything freezes up, causing me to have to manually restart.
Thanks, Can you comment on my efforts in the attached worksheet ? For example, where I went wrong, some things that I might have did good and so forth. A few comments on why you chose the classic interface would also be greatly appreciated. I was also having troubles figuring out the magnitude and range of values to use for the independent variable, lambda. How did you know how small/big and how far to go for your graph ? Lastly I have Maple version 10.04, but that shouldn't make much of a difference. Again thanks very much, very respectfully
