    If a function is differentiable at some point c of its domain, then it is also continuous at c. However here we extend the notion of differentiability to be valid for individual points on the real number line, specifically positive integers.

     f(n)=(-1)^n* n^(1/n)

    THEOREM MRBK 8.0

    f=f' / (I*Pi+(1-ln(n))/n^2)| n ∈ {1,2,3,...}

    By THEOREM MRBK 4.0, When n is in the set of (positive) integers the derivative of f is exactly I*Pi*f+(1-ln(n))*f/n^2.

    So f' = I*Pi*f+(1-ln(n))*f/n^2| n ∈ {1,2,3,...}

    Solving for f, we have the following:

    f' = I*Pi*f+(1-ln(n))*f/n^2

    f' = f*(I*Pi+(1-ln(n))/n^2)

    f=f' / (I*Pi+(1-ln(n))/n^2)

    Points and lines, and the relationships between them, are essential ingredients of so many problems in, for example, calculus. In particular, obtaining the equation of the perpendicular bisector of a line segment, dropping a perpendicular from a point to a given line, and calculating the distance from a point to a line are three tasks treated in elementary analytic geometry that recur in the applications....

    I spend much of my time traveling for business. These trips often last a week, and we try to visit as many potential customers as possible, and in the most efficient order. This involves matching our hosts' calendars with our own, booking the most cost effective travel options, and coping with last-minute cancellations and changes. It isn’t easy!

    This has become so much easier with the advent of shareable calendars and mapping services, like Google Maps. ...

    I've just published an update to MaplePrimes that fixes a few minor bugs and adds one new feature:

    • Your Bio is now displayed on your profile page. This can be edited on your edit profile page
    • The paging between Answers, Questions and Posts on a user's profile is now working.
    • The rendered image from the 2-D math button is now up 300px wide, which should cause most math to appear better.
    • When creating a post, the date is now stored correctly instead of 4 hours off as it was before.
    • The "Mark Page as Read" button now works on the Recent tab.

    A long while ago, I wrote a couple posts (part1 and part2) about mining data from the US SSA website.  I subsequently adapted the code from those blog posts into a visual application with sliders and interactive plots.  If you have played with the new ?MapleCloud functionality in Maple 14, you may have seen it posted already.

    Several of my posts were voted up or down, and I couldn't see who did that. It would be a useful feature to be able to see who voted posts up or down - at least for your own posts.

    When I want to look through somebody's (including my own) posts, who has several pages of them, neither clicking the arrow nor clicking another page number works - even if the new page says something like page 2 of 6, or page 3 of 7, it shows exactly the same posts that were on page 1.

    When I tabbed on the recent tab I thought I was back home at the old mapleprimes.  The layout is much nicer there.

    Will you be transforming the rest of the site to that layout?

    On another note, I made two posts, but I had disabled scripts at my end.  And it doesn't look like they were posted (this one re-doing and another) I've turned it back on and I will see if it posts.

    I just finished a post and it said it was posted 4 hours ago?
    I'm not sure if this happens in Maple 13 and up. But in the standard interface, if you hold your cursor over the maple tab at the bottom of Windows or the maple help tab at the bottom until the flyout (only takes a half second or so) and leave it, while it is there your typing in Maple will lag. Just checked the classic interface and it is not affected by this. Can anyone check this in Maple 13 and 14?

    This is in the "Product Suggestions" category since there is no better place to report a bug that I could find.

    In Maple 14 using the GraphTheory package on isomorphic (but not identical) transitive 3-regular graphs of order 120,

      IsIsomorphic(G1,G2) hangs.  It seems to do okay if the graphs are not isomorphic (returns false), or if they are identical

      in their labeling (returns true).

    A suggestion to fix it would be...

    I like to read everything here. I don't want to miss any reply, but I also don't want to have any subscriptions. Would it be possible for the new site to have another right-column section entitled "Recent Replies", whose header would be a link to an expanded history (only of links to replies)?

    I noticed when a later post gets more votes it gets shuffled up to the top of the chain.  However if it's a long thread and some posts get more thumbs up than others you will have an extremely out of sync or chaotic type thread.  Where an answer to the original post may refer to or even answer a later question further down the line which may confuse the reader ... err sorry, will confuse the reader.

    I suggest that you don't bubble the most thumbs up answer to the top of the thread.

    Some of the links from google link, link to the old mapleprimes which are now broken.

    Links to images in some posts are gone as relevant in one of my earlier posts here http://www.mapleprimes.com/questions/87740-Different-Size-Points-For-Pointplot-And-Transforming-To-3d-With-2d-Symbols

    which as of a couple of days ago when the old mapleprimes was still active, all images in the post were visible.
