Im new to maple and totally missed the student package, looks like it will simplify things for a beginner like me:)

But can you explain why this wont give the roots, seems to work for anything else.

solve([cos(t) = tan(t), 0 <= t and t <= 2*Pi], t, AllSolutions, Explicit)
