@tomleslie I will check this out to see. Anything helps really. I've been trying to work this out for a week now. This is the actual link. It's lab 3 but it had an attached seed file its called and it has some steps you can manipulate but I am lost on how to do the whole my is 8 and to overshoot the equation.

this is just if you want to see what I am working with. We do not learn Maple for the class we are just sort of given it and you hope for the best. 

@Carl Love I am not too sure I think they are meant to be equal just rewritten. This is for an assignment so there is a link online to it that explains it bettter. But I am not asking for help just to get an answer like I am geninely lost as to how to solve this with Maple
