Thanks for the help! I suppose i'm not suprised that it was a poor fit. The assignment is to take the data and see what models provide the best fit between exponential, logistic, and Gompertz models. Out of curiousity, why does defining the model as a seperate function allow it to run properly? Was the fact that the problem is ill-conditioned the reason that NonLinearFit was unable to solve for it? Also, how did you view the last iterations of NonLinearFit?
